Materials

The ribbon was commissioned especially for Dottie's - you won't find this design anywhere else. Hold it up to the light as your dog moves and the scales catch and shimmer from every angle; it's that kind of detail. The 13mm webbing is cushioned to sit gently against the skin rather than digging in, which matters for a collar worn every single day. The hardware is chosen for longevity - the welded D-ring won't work loose over time, and the standard release buckle opens and closes smoothly for years of daily use.

We've been making dog collars and leads by hand in our UK workshop since 2011. Every collar passes through our hands - not a factory floor - which means we can be particular about every stitch, every charm, and every clasp. Machine wash at 30° on a gentle cycle. Air dry flat — do not tumble dry. Avoid prolonged soaking. Hardware can be wiped with a damp cloth. Biothane collars can be rinsed clean with warm water.
