Measuring your Pet

Please ensure you measure your dogs correctly as each item is made to the measurements you give us.

Measuring for a Collar

Measure all the way around the neck where you want the collar to sit. Our sizes for collars may differ to your current collar brand, so please double check sizing.

  • Small 10-14 inches
  • Medium 12-16 Inches

Collar Fastenings

Side Release Clips - The collar will be made to the maximum size you select which includes the clip. The collar may go smaller than the size stated on the sizing as it is fully adjustable.

Semi-Slip - The collar will be made to the maximum size you select which will be with the slip part of the collar made loose. The collar may go smaller than the size stated on the sizing as it is fully adjustable. Ensure you measure point A and B points of the dogs neck shown on the picture below. The size you select should allow enough room to go over the head at point A but adjust small enough to fit point B. This will allow the collar to slip over the dogs head and then be adjusted.

Buckle Collars - The size you select will be where each of the holes will be made, so a 12-16" will have holes at 12" from the buckle to 16" from the buckle. A further 2" will be added to ensure the collar length can tuck behind the d-ring if the collar is on the last hole.

Slip Collars, Flat Collars, Martingale collars - measure your dogs biggest part of their head (just before the ears - point A) and the smallest part (just behind their ears - point B), this should allow you to pick a collar size that will fit both of these and sit in the correct place on the dogs neck (point C). The collar size you choose will be made to the maximum size with the martingale section fully open.
